Linen Throw Blanket

Linen is made from flax plant fibers, and its textile properties are almost opposite to those of cotton. Where cotton softens over time through gradual fiber breakdown (which eventually causes thinning and holes), linen fibers actually become more supple with washing as the longer, stiffer fiber structure relaxes — linen genuinely gets better with age. The stonewashing process on this throw accelerates that softening before you receive it, so it doesn’t have the initial stiffness of raw linen; it arrives already pre-softened and ready to use.

Linen’s moisture management is exceptional for a natural fiber. The hollow fiber structure wicks moisture away from skin faster than cotton and releases it quickly, which is why linen blankets feel cool in warm weather and warm in cold weather — they manage the microclimate between you and the blanket rather than trapping heat uniformly. This makes the throw usable year-round without the seasonal swap that heavier wool or synthetic blankets require.
